The true story of Natascha Kampusch who was kidnapped as a 10-year-old and held captive for 3096 days.
Ten-year-old Natascha Kampusch leaves the family's house in Vienna on the morning of March 2, 1998, but does not show up at school or at home. A twelve-year-old witnessed her being dragged into a white minibus. Wolfgang Priklopil drives her to her home in Strasshof, a half-hour drive from Vienna. A comprehensive search was initiated, but without results. 700 white vans were checked, including the kidnapper's car. Priklopil claimed to have been home at the time of the abduction and is being checked out of the case. She is his prisoner until August 23, 2006.
