Agustin (Viggo Mortensen) is desperate to get away from a frustrating life situation. When he receives the sad news of his twin brother's death, he decides to start a new life. He assumes his brother's identity and returns to his hometown where they grew up as children, but soon Augustine finds himself involuntarily in the middle of a dangerous, criminal underworld that was part of his brother's life.
