Ida blogs about fashion, belongs to the coolest gang at school and lives to shop with her best friend Karoline. She is fine until her mother one day tells her they're moving. And it's not to New York or London, it's to a disused small farm in a tiny settlement in northern Norway. Ida hates her parents for forcing her away from her friends.
After one week in the village, things have gone from bad to worse. Now Ida not only hates her parents, she hates her life. It does not get better when the mother forces her to meet some of the natives. A bunch of losers who have never heard of makeup and who spend all their time on horses. For Ida, there is now only one thing to do, and that is to run back to the city. But a dramatic encounter with the horse Kehilan changes everything.
