Blindness

121 minutes 2008 6.5

Mankind is falling into the clutches of an epidemic of mysterious blindness. It starts all of a sudden. A man instantly goes blind as he drives home from work and his whole world suddenly changes into a eerie milky white haze. One by one, every single person he meets - his wife, his doctor, even the good Samaritan who gives him a ride home - will suffer the same disturbing fate.

As the infection spreads, and panic and paranoia spread throughout the city, the victims of "White Sickness" are rounded up and quarantined in a dilapidated abandoned mental hospital, where everything resembling a normal life gradually collapses. But inside the closed hospital, there is a secret eyewitness: a woman who is not affected, but who has pretended to be blind.
