One night, schoolgirl Haru is awakened by a strange procession outside her window. There is a cat parade in her honor, after she saved a kitty from being run over by a car. How can they thank her enough? Yes, by letting her marry the Cat Prince himself! They abduct her to the Cat Kingdom, where she ends up at the mercy of power-hungry cats and begins to develop whiskers and pointed ears. But Haru just wants to be a normal girl.
