A young girl grows up in a dysfunctional family that is constantly on the run from the authorities. Through her poor upbringing, she and her siblings are ruled by her gifted but alcoholic father, who through incredible stories tries to divert their attention from the poor conditions of the family, and her unorthodox, selfish mother who has no intention of taking care of the family. Together, the siblings take care of each other through the special journey, which is their family life.
