Eleven-year-old Halvdan Viking lives in Østbyen. Østbyen has been in conflict with the neighboring town Vestbyen for as long as you can remember. One day in the forest, Halvdan meets the fearless king's daughter Meia from the enemy town, and it is the start of an unexpected friendship. When Vestbyen is planning an attack on Østbyen, the two friends understand that everything depends on them if it is to be stopped in time.
