A Lady in Paris

Anne travels from a small town in Estonia to Paris, where she has been given a job as a housekeeper and caretaker for Frida (Jeanne Moreau); an elderly lady who emigrated from Estonia to France a long time ago. But Anne quickly discovers that she is not very welcome. All Frida wants is the attention of her former younger lover, and only friend, Stéphane.

But he's busy and doesn't have much time for his old flame, so he relies on Anne to look after Frida; even against her will. In this difficult situation, Anne must find her own way out.
