In 2009, NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples from one of Jupiter's moons, Europe, but crashed on its return trip across Central America. New forms of life began to emerge and the military continues to struggle to gain control of these "creatures." It all starts when the journalist Andrew agrees to escort a shaken, female tourist through the "infection zone".
