Marguerite's Theorem

We follow Marguerite Hoffman, a Phd-student at the famous elite university École Normale Supérieure in France. Marguerite is a brilliant yet socially awkward mathematician, who is working to solve a problem that has been bothering mathematicians for 150 years. It seems Marguerite may have cracked the code. 

Despite her major breakthrough, an error is pointed out by a freshman, Lucas, and ashamed by it all Marguerite quit academia and stops working on her Phd. Can she regain her confidence from the defeat to prove to the world that she is right? 

Ella Rumpf (playing Marguerite) won the French equivalent of an Oscar, César, for her performance in the film.
