The Wishbone family is really a normal family, but occasionally, when danger threatens, they can transform to gain the abilities they need to fix things. Our family of monsters, consisting of a vampire, Frankenstein's monster, a mummy and a werewolf and well aided and abetted by their three pet bats, must free two friends from the clutches of monster hunter Mila Starr. Along the way, they meet new monstrous acquaintances and eventually come to the realization that no family is perfect and that even those with flaws deserve to be happy.
