Miss Potter

89 minutes 2006 7.0

She has thrilled generations, but her life was a secret. Until now. Beatrix Potter is a 30-year-old single woman at a time when the woman's finest task was to marry upwards and never look downwards. No one, let alone Beatrix's family, understands that she would rather draw and tell little stories about animals. It's completely wrong when she meets the inexperienced publisher Norman Wayne. He falls head over heels in love with Beatrix's unique stories as well as with Beatrix himself, and he gives her an impossible mission to break free from the family's suffocating ties.
