Zoo takes place in Belfast in 1941. When Tom's father decides to enlist in World War II, the remaining family has to take care of his father's zoo. When the government decides that all dangerous animals must be removed, Tom and his family's zoo is threatened. Tom does everything he can to save the elephant Buster. He seeks help from his friends, and together they fight to save this beautiful elephant.
