1420. During the English army's looting of Domrèmy, the godly child Jeanne witness her sister to be raped and killed. After that, she hates the war; religion and prayer become everything to her. As a young girl, she is convinced that she can hear voices from God and the Saints, urging her to expel the English soldiers.
