The Capote Tapes

91 minutes 2019 6.9

In the cultural life of the 50's and 60's, Truman Capote was at the peak of his career, and his company parties were as held as his writing. But nothing lasts forever, and when his abuse takes over, he struggles to maintain his status.

The Capote Tapes is an intimate depiction of the leading author's progress and decline, told through interview recordings that had long since disappeared, but have now come to the surface, and conversations with Capote's friends - and enemies.
