The Meerkats

83 minutes 2008 7.3

Little Kolo is a meerkat, only three weeks old, and like all other small children he must be well taken care of. Fortunately for Kolo, meerkats are very social animals that live in herds and put the family ahead of anything else. So during the day, Kolo is looked after by his big brother, who teaches him to hunt and be on guard. He instinctively protects his little siblings from the dangers that lurk, for example when the eagle is hunting or the snake is looking for a bite to eat. Because life as a meerkat is full of daily challenges and dangers, and it is crucial that you stay with the family. If you get away from the herd first, you may not be able to survive.

Let yourself be carried away by the touching and exciting story of Kolo and his family. The fantastic recording makes it i.a. possible to get into the meerkat family's underground tunnels and feel the excitement up close when the little meerkats escape from a snake.
