Death at a Funeral

87 minutes 2007 7.3

For most people, funerals are just something you want to get over with, and if it was up to Daniel he would skip the day his father was to be buried. How will he manage to write a memorial word that will live up to what his successful author brother has written for previous family funerals? And how will he manage to cover all the costs of the funeral, he who can barely feed himself and his family?

When the family gathers in the magnificent country house, the problems become more. Cousin Martha's girlfriend has been harmed by swallowing a narcotic instead of a sedative, and stubbornly claims that there is life in the coffin! And in the midst of it all, an unknown man appears and threatens to reveal the scandalous truth about the deceased. Now it is up to the two brothers to carry out the funeral with a certain dignity and at the same time ensure that the father's secret is included in the grave.
