The perfect facade of the Travis family cracks when eldest son Matt kills himself. This painful and incomprehensible event causes the other family members to gradually lose control of their lives. In a fight against desperation, the mother Sandy (Sigourney Weaver), father and little brother struggle to bring the family together.
