2095. The world is ravaged by an environmental disaster. The oceans have risen, and all natural fresh water has disappeared. Intelligence chief Fang Rung has undergone a molecular division in order to send his other half, under the name Gordon Thomas, back in time to the year 2017. Gordon goes in search of the researcher Mona Lindkvist, whose pioneering research was lost before it could save the world. When Fang Rung loses contact with Gordon, he sees no other way but to go back to 2017 and try to find his other half. Fang Rung is now in a race against time to save both himself and the world.
