A young couple suspects that their house is haunted by something unknown and dangerous. To obtain evidence, they install a surveillance camera to record everything that happens while they sleep. The footage from the camera gives a gruesome Blair Witch-like effect that made the LA Weekly newspaper the movie the "most terrifying of the year".

Paranormal Activity has been well-received by the public and has been awarded 5 on the dice by several serious and major newspapers, including VG and Dagbladet's reviewers.
