One big, and several small miracles.
In this week's Friday film, we hop in the back of the bus for a trip to the beautiful and soothing Lourdes in France. A group of Irish housewives travels from the town of Ballygar to take a break from their busy everyday lives.
Friday film: The Miracle Club
We find ourselves in Ireland, in the sixties. Lily, Eileen, and Dolly each manage their own households. When they win the prize in a local lottery, they decide to use it to travel to Lourdes. They go to experience miracles, but if the magic is absent, they can still treat themselves to a well-deserved vacation.
It is a star cast in the leading roles in the film: veteran Kathy Bates, Dame Maggie Smith, and Laura Linney. The film has an IMDb-score of 6.4.
