Friday film // week 16

A film about a genuine friendship.

In this week's Friday film we meet two very close friends at a point where one of them becomes seriously ill. They are very different, but have stuck together throughout the years and have great appreciation for each other.

Friday film: The Best is Yet to Come (Le meilleur reste à venir)

Arthur must give his friend a heartbreaking message, which brings the two closer together, and gives them the motivation to follow their dreams before it is too late.

César decides to move in with his friend to help him accomplish everything he wants to do before he dies. But Arthur is not the one who is sick...

Arthur: So what do we do?

César: What do you mean? We celebrate! The party. La Fiesta. La nouba. La bamboche. The tour of the grand dukes. The fiesta!

Arthur is played by Fabrice Luchini, wellknown in the French film business for productions such as "The Mystery in Slack Bay" and "The Mystery of Henri Pick", and his best friend is played by Patrick Bruel. The film is a warm reminder to live now, and follow your dreams before it is too late.
