A little tale of meals and men in Mumbai.

This week's Friday film is a heartwarming drama from a tiny, warm and fragrant kitchen in the most densely populated city in India. The film has won several awards and quickly became a favourite with audiences when it was published in 2013.

Friday film:  The Lunchbox

Housewife Ila cooks her husband lunch every day, and the food is then delivered by messenger to his place of work. She is always excited to hear his feedback, and his lack of, and timid replys to her cooking baffles her. 

What she doesn't know, is that there has been a mix-up with the address on the deliveries. Her food is, without exception, delivered to the soon-to-be retired, moody accountant Saajan Fernandes. 

Sometimes a litte mistake can make all the difference.
