Adolescence can be thrilling and filled with potential, but also complicated, demanding and traumatic. This week's Friday film is a gripping drama of friendship and the power of love.

Friday film: Giant Little Ones

Franky and Ballas are best friends, they go to the same school and are elite swimmers on the same team. They are well liked by their peers, especially the girls. They have supportive families.

But after a home-alone party where an unextected incident changes the dynamic between the two friends, other aspects of their life changes as well. 

The movie has won awards at several international film festivals, among them the Audience Award at the Gothenburg Film Festival.
