Lake of the Dead

76 minutes 1958 6.8

Six Oslo people visit Bjørn Werner at his cabin deep in the Østerdal forests, where he lives alone with his hunting dog. Nearby is a pond, where a horrific tragedy took place in the last century. Legend has it that the pond has a strange draft and that those who get there are forced to drown. When the guests arrive, Werner is gone. They find the body of the dog by the pond. Later, one of the guests disappears.
