In the comedy Musikanter we find Leif Juster in the lead role in the role of the caretaker Maistro. At the music school where he works, it is full of young people who blow, hammer and sing - and who also come running to him with all their problems. Among other things, he has the job of getting them a roof over their heads with the help of cunning and loosening - so that they can practice properly. The nickname Maistro comes from the fact that he has to conduct them all, but in addition he has a secret dream about the role of the great world conductor.
