Newly published films w.31.

Mathematical insanity, Christian-conservative upbringing and theatre are some of the themes from this week's newly published films.

In House of Chains mum and dad decides to homeschool their kids, and chain them up so they submit to their parents' strong, religious ideology. The film is based on a true story.

Biographical Ingeborg Bachmann: Journey Into the Desert tells the tale of rebel poet Ingeborg Bachmann and Swiss playwright Max Frisch as they fall in love.

We have two short films for children this week. In Bædi og Børdi the pair farts themselves to the moon to save two lost reindeer. In Soppmonsteret the little creature hunts the large mushroom.

Can everything in nature be explained by formulas? In psychological thriller PI Max discovers that he can predict the stock exchange numbers. But his dillusions and paranoia makes it hard convincing others.

Judi Dench plays the middle-aged widow in Mrs Henderson Presents. When her husband dies, she decides to purchase a rundown theatre in the heart of Soho.

Happy film-week!
